भारतातील विविध प्रदेश आणि परंपरांचे प्रतिनिधित्व करणाऱ्या पुरातन कलात्मक 105 वस्तू अमेरिकेहून मायदेशी परत आणण्यात आल्या आहेत. पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी अमेरिकेचे यासंदर्भात आभार मानले आहेत. या 105 पुरातन वस्तू भारतातील प्रदेश आणि परंपरांचे वैविध्‍य दर्शविणा-या आहेत.

वॉशिंग्टन डीसी येथील भारतीय दूतावासाने केलेल्या ट्विटला प्रतिसाद देताना पंतप्रधान म्हणाले;
“यामुळे प्रत्येक भारतीयाला आनंद होईल. याबद्दल अमेरिकेचे खूप आभार. या मौल्यवान कलाकृतींना सांस्कृतिक आणि धार्मिक महत्त्व खूप आहे. या वस्तू भारताला परत मिळण्‍याची घटना, आमचा वारसा आणि समृद्ध इतिहास जतन करण्याच्या आमच्या वचनबद्धतेच्या बांधिलकीशी निगडित आहे.”
